Please NO MORE KAAT
THE VERY LAST THING WEE NEED IS
Live chat with Jim Kaat, I THOUGHT WE FINALLY GOT RID OF HIM AND NOW HE'S BACK AGAIN. THERE IS ENOUGH BORING STUFF PLEASE DON'T KILL US WITH MORE JIM KAAT!!!!!

You are entitiled to your opinion, but to come on here and rip Jim Kaat right before he does a live chat is classless. Get a life.

In my opinion, Jim Kaat is really missed when the Yankees televise their games on the YES network. He is a very good analyst and knows the game really well. It is also refreshing to hear someone give their "REAL" opinion on things instead of a "CANNED" opinion. In addition, I like to hear stories about players from the 50's and 60's and he is a good source of that. I truly hope that he does a few Yankee games this year.

Hey, kbrown.sci@gmail.com, if you don't want to read Kaat, then don't go to his blog. It's your choice. Some of us are really glad to hear from Kaat and think he is a baseball treasure chest of knowledge. That's what use to make America great, freedom. It's being ruined by people like you who think everyone should live by your rules. Perhaps, you're one of those people that would like to take conservative talk radio of the air, because you don't agree. By the way, did you know that typing everything in caps is considered the equivalent of yelling?

Big Jim Katt fan. I don't always agree but I value his knowledge and honesty.
I saw some comments from Mr Katt in NYDN regarding CC. Having watched the first game and having watched Clemens his first year in NY along with CC trying to prove something in Cleveland last year, after not getting a contract offer, I can't help but wonder:
Doesn't he appear to be musseling his fastball and loosing velocity? I just didn't see that relaxed full extension he has when he's popping at 96. The same was true for RC that first year unless he had a comfortable lead. CC sounds like a great guy who really aims to please. I really think when he relaxes you'll see a much smoother release and increased velocity.

i think jim katt rocks...and am glad to have a place to hear what he has to say...kitty and kenny...the best around!

Best pitching tip I ever heard came from Jim Kaat... "pitchers need to make the hitter 'hit' the ball... not miss it." All our pitchers should take this advice. Challenge the hitter!

Thanks Mr. Kaat for your insights. I am looking forward to many more blogs from you in the future.

Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job - of being stupid. If you don't like Kitty, fine. You're entitled to your own (dumba**) opinion. However, a man who can break down baseball and explain it so kids learning the game get it while entertaining the most knowledgeable adult fans is a baseball treasure. So please keep your opinions to yourself.

Kitty,
thank you all the years of great memories. One of the saddest days for my wife and I were when you retired...you brought alot to the game. I learned about some players I never enen heard of and you always knew a cousin of a cousin who knew someone and the stories were awesome. we really liked when you were with paul oneill.....he would always egg you on to get one of those stories out of you....I again than you for all the years you brought great teaching to the game. we hope to see you in guest roles in the future.......Anthony and Silvia Saviri......
